Let's read languages from MT
I'm making a table for reading languages in MT (HL, DL, BL, etc).
You can use this table to read almost any text in the anime.
Table creation progress by language
- Human-Language : 99% complete. Working on additional cursive table
- Demon-God-Language : 7~80% complete. Under review
- Beast-God-Language : Can't read yet
How were the languages in MT created?
It is often made by mixing the consonant order of existing languages.
Therefore, when interpreting, read the consonants in the reversed order, and proper nouns should be read as they are pronounced.
For convenience of interpretation, the table takes the form below.
Base Language [Pronunciation] Character (upper/lower)
How to read comments in images
- Blue : Decoded Human-Language (=Basque)
- Green : Decoded Demon-God-Language (=Zulu)
- Pink : Translation
- Gray : A typo that does not significantly affect interpretation
- Red : Parts judged to be a typo and changed arbitrarily
- [Bracket] : Case you should read by pronunciation (ex : proper nouns)
- {Brace} : Number of Human-Language (Written in pronunciation, not in Basque)
- Underline : Severe paraphrase
- Italics : Inferred because it is invisible
Languages
Human-Language
- Base : Basque (Number is Roman style)
- References : "A Textbook in Magic" in Blu-ray Ep1, Letters, etc
- Conversion : The consonants are arranged in reverse alphabetical order
Demon-God-Language
<This table has not yet been sufficiently reviewed>
- Base : Zulu (Number is hieroglyphs)
- References : DL book (from Boreas), Roxy's textbook, etc
- Conversion : The order of the consonants is jumbled
Demon-God-Language are pronounced well enough, so an alphabet conversion table has been made, but it is difficult to decipher and there are not many data, so the table is not complete.
There are basically no spaces in DL. damn it
Beast-God-language
<No table yet>
- Base : ???
- References : BL book (from Boreas)
